Noteworthy Wednesday Option Activity: SQ, BKNG, ROKU

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Square Inc (NYSE:SQ), where a total of 107,295 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 10.7 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 98.9% of SQ's average daily trading volume over the past month of 10.8 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $250 strike call option expiring April 23, 2021, with 15,781 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.6 million underlying shares of SQ. Booking Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:BKNG) saw options trading volume of 4,412 contracts, representing approximately 441,200 underlying shares or approximately 97.3% of BKNG's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 453,545 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $2000 strike put option expiring April 23, 2021, with 97 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 9,700 underlying shares of BKNG. And Roku Inc (NASDAQ:ROKU) saw options trading volume of 36,594 contracts, representing approximately 3.7 million underlying shares or approximately 97.3% of ROKU's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 3.8 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $360 strike call option expiring April 23, 2021, with 3,215 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 321,500 underlying shares of ROKU.
