Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Lemonade Inc (NYSE:LMND), where a total of 14,916 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.5 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 49% of LMND's average daily trading volume over the past month of 3.0 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $120 strike put option expiring September 17, 2021, with 1,228 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 122,800 underlying shares of LMND. Carter's Inc (NYSE:CRI) options are showing a volume of 4,354 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 435,400 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 48.7% of CRI's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 894,835 shares.
