Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Hibbett Sports Inc (NASDAQ:HIBB), where a total of 1,471 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 147,100 underlying shares. That amounts to about 45% of HIBB's average daily trading volume over the past month of 326,955 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $85 strike call option expiring June 18, 2021, with 461 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 46,100 underlying shares of HIBB. Caesarstone Ltd (NASDAQ:CSTE) options are showing a volume of 1,094 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 109,400 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 44.9% of CSTE's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 243,690 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $15 strike put option expiring January 21, 2022, with 300 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 30,000 underlying shares of CSTE.
