Notable Wednesday Option Activity: BCOR, AN, XRX

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Blucora, Inc. (BCOR), where a total of 1,843 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 184,300 underlying shares. That amounts to about 70.6% of BCOR's average daily trading volume over the past month of 260,905 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $17.50 strike put option expiring June 18, 2021, with 1,645 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 164,500 underlying shares of BCOR. AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE:AN) saw options trading volume of 5,392 contracts, representing approximately 539,200 underlying shares or approximately 68.7% of AN's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 784,580 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $105 strike call option expiring August 20, 2021, with 2,090 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 209,000 underlying shares of AN.
