Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Whirlpool Corp (NYSE:WHR), where a total of 3,885 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 388,500 underlying shares. That amounts to about 67.8% of WHR's average daily trading volume over the past month of 573,420 shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $212.50 strike put option expiring June 18, 2021, with 398 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 39,800 underlying shares of WHR.
