Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Titan Machinery, Inc. (NASDAQ:TITN), where a total of 2,498 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 249,800 underlying shares. That amounts to about 69.4% of TITN's average daily trading volume over the past month of 359,945 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike put option expiring June 18, 2021, with 1,034 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 103,400 underlying shares of TITN. Clearfield Inc (NASDAQ:CLFD) saw options trading volume of 859 contracts, representing approximately 85,900 underlying shares or approximately 69.2% of CLFD's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 124,075 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $40 strike call option expiring July 16, 2021, with 259 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 25,900 underlying shares of CLFD.
