Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Lyft Inc (NASDAQ:LYFT), where a total of 25,397 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 2.5 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 59.4% of LYFT's average daily trading volume over the past month of 4.3 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $57 strike call option expiring July 30, 2021, with 4,524 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 452,400 underlying shares of LYFT. Vapotherm Inc (VAPO) options are showing a volume of 895 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 89,500 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 57.8% of VAPO's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 154,970 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $30 strike call option expiring August 20, 2021, with 756 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 75,600 underlying shares of VAPO. And Visa Inc (NYSE:V) saw options trading volume of 42,698 contracts, representing approximately 4.3 million underlying shares or approximately 56.1% of V's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 7.6 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $250 strike call option expiring July 30, 2021, with 4,233 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 423,300 underlying shares of V.
