Noteworthy Monday Option Activity: DKNG, ADNT, BJ

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ:DKNG), where a total of 107,424 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 10.7 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 104.6% of DKNG's average daily trading volume over the past month of 10.3 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $47 strike call option expiring July 30, 2021, with 7,631 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 763,100 underlying shares of DKNG. Adient plc (NYSE:ADNT) saw options trading volume of 8,773 contracts, representing approximately 877,300 underlying shares or approximately 103.5% of ADNT's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 847,585 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $46 strike call option expiring October 15, 2021, with 4,010 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 401,000 underlying shares of ADNT. And BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings Inc (NYSE:BJ) options are showing a volume of 9,505 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 950,500 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 103% of BJ's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 922,855 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $40 strike put option expiring August 20, 2021, with 8,883 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 888,300 underlying shares of BJ.
