Noteworthy Monday Option Activity: RUN, UBER, BZH

Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Sunrun Inc (NASDAQ:RUN), where a total volume of 29,429 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 2.9 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 67.5% of RUN's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 4.4 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $45 strike put option expiring August 20, 2021, with 5,736 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 573,600 underlying shares of RUN. Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER) options are showing a volume of 160,656 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 16.1 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 67.2% of UBER's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 23.9 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $42 strike call option expiring August 20, 2021, with 10,683 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.1 million underlying shares of UBER. And Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (NYSE:BZH) saw options trading volume of 2,675 contracts, representing approximately 267,500 underlying shares or approximately 64.5% of BZH's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 414,655 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $30 strike call option expiring December 17, 2021, with 1,283 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 128,300 underlying shares of BZH.
