Investors Pick Up WPC 5.4% Cheaper Than Its Secondary Stock Offering

Looking back to 50 days ago, W.P. Carey Inc (NYSE:WPC) priced a 4,500,000 share secondary stock offering at $78.00 per share. Buyers in that offering made a considerable investment into the company, expecting that their investment would go up over the course of time. In trading on Tuesday, bargain hunters could buy shares of WPC and achieve a cost basis 5.4% cheaper than those buyers, with shares changing hands as low as $73.80 per share.
