Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in CloudFlare Inc (NYSE:NET), where a total of 16,533 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.7 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 70.6% of NET's average daily trading volume over the past month of 2.3 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $100 strike put option expiring January 20, 2023, with 1,232 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 123,200 underlying shares of NET. Enphase Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:ENPH) options are showing a volume of 11,330 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 1.1 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 70.1% of ENPH's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.6 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $160 strike call option expiring September 17, 2021, with 1,206 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 120,600 underlying shares of ENPH. And Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp (NASDAQ:BGFV) saw options trading volume of 15,285 contracts, representing approximately 1.5 million underlying shares or approximately 66.8% of BGFV's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.3 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $25 strike call option expiring October 15, 2021, with 6,168 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 616,800 underlying shares of BGFV.
