Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Golar LNG Ltd (NASDAQ:GLNG), where a total volume of 3,737 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 373,700 underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 60.4% of GLNG's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 619,025 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $12.50 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 1,511 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 151,100 underlying shares of GLNG. Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike call option expiring October 15, 2021, with 2,895 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 289,500 underlying shares of CRSR.
