Noteworthy Monday Option Activity: MCF, IBM, LZ

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Contango Oil & Gas Co. Particularly high volume was seen for the $5 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 3,534 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 353,400 underlying shares of MCF. Particularly high volume was seen for the $142 strike call option expiring October 01, 2021, with 1,124 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 112,400 underlying shares of IBM. And LegalZoom.com Inc (NASDAQ:LZ) options are showing a volume of 3,584 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 358,400 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 57.5% of LZ's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 623,260 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $35 strike call option expiring November 19, 2021, with 990 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 99,000 underlying shares of LZ.
