Notable Tuesday Option Activity: CR, VLDR, OTRK

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), where a total of 2,643 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 264,300 underlying shares. That amounts to about 129% of CR's average daily trading volume over the past month of 204,860 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $90 strike put option expiring November 19, 2021, with 406 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 40,600 underlying shares of CR. Velodyne Lidar Inc (VLDR) options are showing a volume of 31,829 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 3.2 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 125.1% of VLDR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 2.5 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $7.50 strike call option expiring November 19, 2021, with 12,599 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.3 million underlying shares of VLDR. And Ontrak Inc (NASDAQ:OTRK) options are showing a volume of 3,142 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 314,200 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 119% of OTRK's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 263,950 shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $10 strike call option expiring November 19, 2021, with 808 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 80,800 underlying shares of OTRK.
