Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Pae Inc (PAE), where a total of 9,000 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 900,000 underlying shares. That amounts to about 263.6% of PAE's average daily trading volume over the past month of 341,405 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $10 strike call option expiring December 17, 2021, with 2,503 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 250,300 underlying shares of PAE. Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) options are showing a volume of 124,859 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 12.5 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 243.3% of NFLX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 5.1 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $670 strike call option expiring October 29, 2021, with 14,693 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.5 million underlying shares of NFLX.
