Notable Tuesday Option Activity: NPTN, APPS, ARCB

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in NeoPhotonics Corp (NPTN), where a total of 2,379 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 237,900 underlying shares. That amounts to about 75.2% of NPTN's average daily trading volume over the past month of 316,415 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $12.50 strike call option expiring December 17, 2021, with 1,393 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 139,300 underlying shares of NPTN. Especially high volume was seen for the $100 strike call option expiring November 05, 2021, with 1,593 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 159,300 underlying shares of APPS.
