Notable Tuesday Option Activity: PLNT, MU, VIR

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Planet Fitness Inc (NYSE:PLNT), where a total of 7,437 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 743,700 underlying shares. That amounts to about 61.9% of PLNT's average daily trading volume over the past month of 1.2 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $90 strike call option expiring December 17, 2021, with 2,032 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 203,200 underlying shares of PLNT.
