Notable Tuesday Option Activity: RGR, EXTR, OPK

Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. (NYSE:RGR), where a total of 745 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 74,500 underlying shares. That amounts to about 90.1% of RGR's average daily trading volume over the past month of 82,695 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $70 strike put option expiring November 19, 2021, with 516 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 51,600 underlying shares of RGR. Particularly high volume was seen for the $12 strike call option expiring November 19, 2021, with 1,073 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 107,300 underlying shares of EXTR.
