Noteworthy Wednesday Option Activity: GKOS, ROKU, GOGO

Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in Glaukos Corp (NYSE:GKOS), where a total volume of 12,820 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 1.3 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 192% of GKOS's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 667,700 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $45 strike put option expiring January 21, 2022, with 6,369 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 636,900 underlying shares of GKOS. Roku Inc (NASDAQ:ROKU) saw options trading volume of 70,156 contracts, representing approximately 7.0 million underlying shares or approximately 155.8% of ROKU's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 4.5 million shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $230 strike call option expiring January 21, 2022, with 6,729 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 672,900 underlying shares of ROKU. And Gogo Inc (NASDAQ:GOGO) saw options trading volume of 14,573 contracts, representing approximately 1.5 million underlying shares or approximately 137.8% of GOGO's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 1.1 million shares.
Particularly high volume was seen for the $6 strike put option expiring May 20, 2022, with 13,051 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.3 million underlying shares of GOGO.
