Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Best Buy Inc (NYSE:BBY), where a total of 17,318 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 1.7 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 42% of BBY's average daily trading volume over the past month of 4.1 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $95 strike put option expiring December 17, 2021, with 810 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 81,000 underlying shares of BBY. Lovesac Co (NASDAQ:LOVE) saw options trading volume of 2,238 contracts, representing approximately 223,800 underlying shares or approximately 41.9% of LOVE's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 533,650 shares.
Especially high volume was seen for the $70 strike put option expiring December 17, 2021, with 317 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 31,700 underlying shares of LOVE.
