Regis Corporation (NYSE:RGS), which owns hair salons and hair restoration centers around the world, is offering both new shares and convertible senior notes to the public in order to repay outstanding debt and for other corporate purposes. In addition, the company announced a drop of 2.5 percent in revenues and same store sales down 4 % for the quarter.
In midday trading Regis was down 22.23%, trading at $13.26.
Spectrum Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SPPI), a commercial-stage biotechnology company, announced it has received a Complete Response letter from the FDA regarding its supplemental Biologics License Application for ZEVALIN® in the first-line consolidation setting for non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma patients.
The FDA asked the Company to submit data files from its FIT study to support and verify a subset of the data that are currently under review to support the proposed labeling of the drug.
The news of the FDA's request has sent Spectrum lower this afternoon, with shares down 15.38%, trading at $5.50.
