Business technology consultants, Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE:BR), announced today that it would double its annual dividend from $0.28 per share up to $0.56 per share. The dividend will be paid in quarterly installments, with the first dividend of $0.14 per share being paid in October.

In other dividend news, 3M Company (NYSE:MMM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 51 cents per share. Nike (NYSE:NKE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. Property and casualty insurer Loews Corporation (NYSE:L) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6.25 cents per share. And geriatric pharmaceutical services company, Omnicare (NYSE:OCR), maintained its quarterly dividend of 2.25 cents per share.
