HCC Insurance (NYSE:HCC) declared a quarterly cash dividend of 13.5 cents per share. This represents an eight percent increase over the previous dividend and the thirteen year in a row that the company has raised its dividend amount.
In response to the dividend, shares of HCC were on the rise Friday afternoon, up more than one percent.
In other dividend news, Home Depot Incorporated (NYSE:HD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share. Burger King Holdings Incorporated (BKC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6.25 cents per share. And Macy's (NYSE:M) maintained its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Rogers Communications Incorporated (NYSE:RCI) announced its quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share, an increase of about 16% over its prior dividend in May of 24.9 cents.
