This morning, NGP Capital Resources (NGPC) declared its quarterly dividend of fifteen cents per share. This amounts to a 25% increase over the prior dividend in June of twelve cents per share and snaps a streak of quarterly dividend decreases that dates back to the beginning of the year.
In afternoon trading, shares of NGPC were trading higher by more than four percent following the dividend increase.
In other dividend news, Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share. Aberdeen Asia Pacific Fund (AMEX:FAX) maintained its monthly dividend of 3.5 cents per share. Frontier Oil (FTO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. And Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (NASDAQ:CBRL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Agree Realty (NYSE:ADC) announced its quarterly dividend of 51 cents per share, an increase of about 2% over its prior dividend in June of 50 cents.
