After the close on Friday, Government Properties Income Trust (NYSE:GOV) declared its first distribution of fifty cents per share. This amounts to a third quarter dividend of forty cents per share and a partial second quarter dividend of ten cents per share.
Shares of GOV were trading higher in afternoon trading, gaining just under three percent on the day.
In other dividend news, Bunge Limited (NYSE:BG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share. Vulcan Materials (NYSE:VMC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. Ryder Systems (NYSE:R) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. And Carpenter Technology (NYSE:CRS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share.
