Citigroup upgraded shares of Arch Coal today from sell to hold with a price target of $22. Citigroup had originally downgraded Arch Coal on January 21 citing "impressive" year to date gains. The stock is off by 15% during the last five trading sessions.
Shares are higher today by over two and a half percent today.
Goldman Sachs upgraded shares of Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais, also known as CEMIG to buy. The report stated that "Cemig is trading at a 7% discount to [competitor] Copel on 2010 P/E when our DCF models suggest a 10% premium is appropriate."
Shares are trading higher by almost two and a quarter percent on the upgrade.
Finally, shares of Advanced Micro Devices are trading higher by 6.3 percent today after an analyst at JMP Securities upgraded the stock from Market Perform to Market Outperform.
The firm set a price target of $10, saying that "following checks and indications that AMD's PC and server opportunities in 2010/11 are stronger than we had previously been modeling."
