After the bell yesterday, Guess (NYSE:GES) declared its quarterly dividend of sixteen cents per share, an increase of about twenty eight percent over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.3% going forward.
In morning trading, shares of Guess were climbing, up almost three percent so far today.
In other dividend news, Marsh & Mclennan (NYSE:MMC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share. Progress Energy (NYSE:PGN) maintained its quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share. SL Green Realty (NYSE:SLG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share. And Redwood Trust (NYSE:RWT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share.
