After the bell yesterday, Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) declared its quarterly dividend of 37.5 cents per share, an increase of about twenty four percent over the previous amount. Also announced by the company was a new $2 billion share repurchase plan as means of further increasing shareholder value.
Shares of Raytheon were trading higher on the news, up about eight tenths of a percent so far.
In other dividend news, NSTAR (NST) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share. Clarcor (NYSE:CLC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9.75 cents per share. And Mission West Properties (MSW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.
