Today's Big Losers: ETQ, CMZ, KOG Monday, March 22, 2:26 PM ET
On February 1, Corriente Resources (CTQ.CA) (ETQ) announced that the formal bid circular in respect to the offer by CRCC-Tongguan Investment to acquire Corriente had been mailed to Corriente's registered shareholders and option holders.
The offer is scheduled to expire on Thursday, March 25, 2010.
Today, Corriente Resources shares are drifting lower as we approach the date. Currently shares are down more than 11.5%.
Certain Oil and Gas stocks are taking a hit today, including Kodiak Oil & Gas (NYSE:KOG), down more than 2.5% and Compton Petroleum (CMZ), down almost 7%.
