Red Hat (NYSE:RHT) said it is looking for adjusted earnings of 71 to 74 cents per share in its next fiscal year, which is below what analysts had anticipated.
Shares of Red Hat are down more than 6.5%.
Goodrich Petroleum (NYSE:GDP) announced the resignation of David R. Looney from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Looney, whose resignation becomes effective March 31, 2010, is leaving to pursue other business opportunities. As part of the resignation, Mr. Looney has agreed to serve as a consultant for the Company for a period of six months to assist the Company with a transition process.
Goodrich is trading down more than 4.5%.
MELA Sciences (NASDAQ:MELA) announced that it has received additional questions from U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding the review status of the Pre-Market Approval application of its MelaFind device for early melanoma detection. The company is actively working to respond to the agency's questions in the immediate term. The FDA indicated that the MelaFind PMA review has been extended 180 days.
