This morning, Grainger (NYSE:GWW) declared its quarterly dividend of 54 cents per share, an increase of about 17% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2% going forward.
Shares of GWW were trading basically flat Wednesday afternoon, up just 0.2% on the day.
In other dividend news, Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE:NSC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share. Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. And L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, UGI Corporation (NYSE:UGI) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 25% over its prior dividend in March of 20 cents.
