Consol Energy (NYSE:CNX) said today its president and CEO, Brett Harvey, will take on the role of chairman of the board as well. Harvey has been at the helm of the company since 1998.
Current chairman John Whitmore, who has held the position since CONSOL went public in 1999, will become vice chairman.
Also today, UGI Corporation (NYSE:UGI) said its chief financial officer, Peter Kelly, plans to retire in early 2011.
The propane and energy marketing holding company said it will announce a successor prior to Mr. Kelly’s retirement.
