The iShares S&P North American Technology-Software Index Fund ETF (AMEX:IGV) has been outperforming other ETFs over the last five trading days, up about 1.4%. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of McAfee (MFE), up about 57.1% and shares of Commvault Systems (NASDAQ:CVLT), up about 13.3% over the last five days.
And underperforming other ETFs over this period is the Claymore/MAC Global Solar Energy Index ETF (NYSE:TAN), down about 10.9% in the past five trading days. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing for the week were shares of Energy Conversion Devices (NASDAQ:ENER), lower by about 19.2%, and shares of Sunpower (SPWRA), lower by about 15.9% over the period.
Other ETF standouts include the Internet Infrastructure HOLDRS (IIH), outperforming over the last five trading days with a 0.7% gain. And the Claymore/NYSE Arca Airline ETF (FAA) was an underperformer, falling about 9.2% over the period.
