Stewart Information Services (NYSE:STC) reported second quarter earnings per diluted share of $0.45 compared to a loss of $1.14 per diluted share in the second quarter 2009, handily beating expectations.
Stewart is higher by 13.2%.
Herbalife (NYSE:HLF) said second quarter EPS increased 71.4% to $1.32 compared to the prior year period and the company raised fiscal year 2010 EPS guidance to a range of $4.30 to $4.40 on higher volume and net sales growth.
The Board of Directors authorized an increase in the quarterly cash dividend from $0.20 to $0.25.
Shares of Herbalife are up 11.25%.
PHH (NYSE:PHH) was upgraded by FBR Capital from market perform to outpeform with a $26 target price after the company announced their second quarter results.
PHH is trading higher by 9%.
Helix Energy Solutions Group (NYSE:HLX) reported a net loss of $85.6 million, or a loss of $0.82 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2010 compared with net income of $100.2 million, or $0.94 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009.
Shares of Helix are up over 9%.
First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE:FR) posted a diluted net loss of $0.29 per share, compared to a loss of $0.17 a year ago. The company said that second quarter occupancy improved seventy basis points from the first quarter 2010.
