This morning, Barclays upgraded shares of Atlas Pipeline Partners (NYSE:APL) from equal weight to overweight following the recent asset sale. The company has gained valuable flexibility on its balance sheet to develop its Marcellus Shale assets. With the upgrade, the firm upped its price target to $19 per share.
In morning trading, shares of APL were higher by about 0.6%.
JP Morgan has grown increasingly bullish on shares of Coca Cola (NYSE:KO) and has upgraded shares to overweight. The firm has set 2010 EPS estimates at $3.42 per share and raised its price target to $66.
Shares of Coca Cola were higher on the news, up a little more than 2%.
And UBS raised its EPS estimates on shares of Merck (NYSE:MRK) through 2011 citing strong cost cutting efforts from the company. Management has performed well in this enviornment and UBS maintained its buy rating and $45 price target.
Shares of Merck were higher on the news, up 1.6% this morning.
