The Broadband HOLDRS ETF (BDH) has been outperforming other ETFs this week, up about 2.7%. Components of that ETF showing particular strength this week include shares of Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), up about 1.5% and shares of Mindspeed Tech (MSPD), up about 0.4% on the week.
And underperforming other ETFs this week is the Dynamic Semiconductors Portfolio ETF (NYSE:PSI), off about 6.6% this week. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing for the week were shares of Veeco Instruments (NASDAQ:VECO), lower by about 27.6%, and shares of LTX Credence (LTXC), lower by about 20.4% on the week.
Other ETF standouts so far this week include the Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), outperforming this week with a 1.4% gain. And the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Equipment & Services ETF (NYSE:XES) has been an underperformer, falling about 6.5% so far this week.
