After the bell yesterday, Capstead Mortgage (NYSE:CMO) declared its quarterly dividend of 26 cents per share, a decrease of about 28% from its prior dividend in June. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 9.2% going forward.
In afternoon trading, shares of CMO were lower, losing 4.6% today.
In other dividend news, EOG Resources (NYSE:EOG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15.5 cents per share. And Masco Corporation (NYSE:MAS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 7.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Philip Morris International (NYSE:PM) announced its quarterly dividend of 64 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in June of 58 cents. And Dynex Capital (NYSE:DX) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend in June of 23 cents.
