After the bell yesterday, Gold Resource Corporation (AMEX:GORO) declared its monthly dividend of 3 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.8% going forward.
In afternoon trading, shares of GORO were higher by more than 2.6 percent.
Among dividend increases, MFA Financial (NYSE:MFA) announced its quarterly dividend of 22.5 cents per share, an increase of about 18% over its prior dividend in July of 19 cents. American Financial Group (NYSE:AFG) announced its quarterly dividend of 16.25 cents per share, an increase of about 18% over its prior dividend in July of 13.8 cents. And Clarcor Incorporated (CLC) announced its quarterly dividend of 10.5 cents per share, an increase of about 7% over its prior dividend in July of 9.8 cents.
And among dividend reductions, Anworth Mortgage (NYSE:ANH) announced its quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, a decrease of about 8% from its prior dividend in July of 25 cents.
