iGate Corporation (NASDAQ:IGTE) announced a dividend of 15 cents per share, an increase of about 36% over its prior dividend in February of 11 cents. The dividend is payable December 28, 2010, to shareholders of record as of December 1, 2010.
Shares are down over one and a half percent, however, on news that the company plans to file a shelf registration with the SEC to offer 10 million shares and debt securities of up to $100 million.
In other dividend news, Procter & Gamble Company (PG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 48.18 cents per share. Caterpillar Incorporated Del (NYSE:CAT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 44 cents per share. Walgreen Company (NYSE:WAG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 17.5 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) announced its quarterly dividend of 19 cents per share, an increase of about 12% over its prior dividend in February of 17 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Core Laboratories (NYSE:CLB) announced a dividend of 6 cents per share, a decrease of about 86% from its prior dividend in July of 42.5 cents.
