This morning, Allergan (NYSE:AGN) declared its monthly dividend of five cents per share, maintaining the amount paid to shareholders last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 0.3% going forward.
In afternoon trading Monday, shares of AGN were higher, picking up 1.6% so far.
In other dividend news, Entergy Corporation New (NYSE:ETR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 83 cents per share. And Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ:ZION) maintained its quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share.
Among dividend increases, Goldcorp (NYSE:GG) announced its monthly dividend of 3 cents per share, an increase of about 100% over its prior dividend in October of 1.5 cents. And Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG) announced its quarterly dividend of 80 cents per share, an increase of about 33% over its prior dividend in August of 60 cents.
