After the bell yesterday, Devry (NYSE:DV) declared its semi-annual dividend of 12 cents per share, an increase of 20% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 0.5% going forward.
In morning trading, shares of Devry were lower with the markets, falling 1.3% so far.
In other dividend news, Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE:APC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 9 cents per share. Tim Horton's (THI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share. Advance Auto Parts (NYSE:AAP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6 cents per share. And Martin Marietta Materials (NYSE:MLM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 40 cents per share.
