This morning, Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI) declared its quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share, an increase of about 23% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.8% going forward.
Shares of JCI were higher on the news, picking up 1.8% so far.
In other dividend news, Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE:PEG) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34.25 cents per share. Clorox (NYSE:CLX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 55 cents per share. The Scripps Networks (NYSE:SNI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 7.5 cents per share. And QEP Resources (NYSE:QEP) maintained a dividend of 2 cents per share.
