The iShares MSCI Asia ex-Japan Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ:AAXJ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 2.4 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 515,000. Shares of AAXJ were down about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE:TSM), trading up about 0.3% with over 2.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Icici Bank Limited (NYSE:IBN), down about 3% on volume of over 2.0 million shares. LG Display (NYSE:LPL) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 1% on the day.
