In trading Wednesday, the Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF (AMEX:REMX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 6.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Avalon Rare Metals (TSE:AVL.CA), up about 40.8% and shares of Quest Rare Minerals Limited (TSE:QRM.CA), up about 13.8% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Financials Sector Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ:AXFN), off about 1.1% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Woori Financial Holdings Limited (NYSE:WF), higher by about 0.3%, and shares of Banco Santander Brasil (NYSE:BSBR), up by about 0.8% on the day.
