This morning, Credit Suisse raised its EPS estimates on shares of Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE:BAM) through 2012 following strong fourth quarter results by the company. With the higher earnings estimates, Credit Suisse maintained its outperform rating.
Shares of Brookfield Asset Management were lower with the markets today, falling 1.8% so far.
And Bank of America upgraded shares of 3M (NYSE:MMM) from underperform to neutral as the firm expects investors to begin rotating their portfolio into more defensive positions. With the upgrade, Bank of America raised its EPS estimates through 2012 and raised its price target to $106.
Shares of 3M were also trading lower with the general markets today, falling just under 1%.
