This morning, Barclays lowered its 2011 EPS estimates on shares of Broadcom (NASDAQ:BRCM) to $2.67 per share as operating expenses could be higher than expected this year. In the report, Barclays maintained its overweight rating and set a price target of $50 per share.
In afternoon trading, shares of Broadcom were sharply lower, falling 7.6% on Wednesday.
Piper Jaffray downgraded shares of Landstar System (NASDAQ:LSTR) from overweight to neutral as growth is slowing and margins are declining. With the downgrade, the firm set a price target of $47 per share.
Landstar System shares were lower following the report, falling 1.1% today.
And Goldman Sachs lowered its price target on shares of Energizer (NYSE:ENR) to $72 following the company's disappointing guidance. With the lower price target, Goldman reiterated its neutral rating.
Shares of Energizer were lower on Wednesday afternoon, falling 4.4% so far.
