Gol Linhas Aereas (GOL) announced a dividend of 30 cents per share, a decrease of about 25% from its prior dividend in March of 39.8 cents. Fourth quarter net income at the Brazilian airline fell 67 percent to 132.2 million reais or $79 million.
Shares are lower by two and three quarter percent.
In other dividend news, Bank of Montreal (NYSE:BMO) maintained its quarterly dividend of 70 cents per share. Fedex Corporation (NYSE:FDX) maintained its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share.
Among dividend increases, Hanover Insurance Group Incorporated (NYSE:THG) announced its quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend in December of 25 cents. Clearbridge Energy MLP Fund Incorporated (NYSE:CEM) announced its quarterly dividend of 35.5 cents per share, an increase of about 1% over its prior dividend in February of 35 cents.
Among dividend reductions, Educational Development (NASDAQ:EDUC) announced its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share, a decrease of about 20% from its prior dividend in December of 15 cents.
