After the bell on Tuesday, Staples (NASDAQ:SPLS) declared its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2% going forward.
Shares of Staples were down a few pennies on Wednesday, falling to $20.22.
In other dividend news, Philip Morris International (NYSE:PM) maintained its quarterly dividend of 64 cents per share. HJ Heinz (NYSE:HNZ) maintained its quarterly dividend of 45 cents per share. Hatteras Financial (NYSE:HTS) maintained its quarterly dividend of $1.00 per share. And Aircastle Limited (NYSE:AYR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share.
