After the bell on Tuesday, Waste Management (NYSE:WM) declared its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share, an increase of about 8% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 3.7% going forward.
Shares of Waste Management were lower on Wednesday, falling 0.3% despite the higher dividend.
In other dividend news, Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY) maintained its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share. Mack Cali Realty (NYSE:CLI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 45 cents per share. Hudbay Minerals (NYSE:HBM) maintained a dividend of 10 cents per share. And Total Systems Services (NYSE:TSS) maintained its quarterly dividend of 7 cents per share.
