New York & Company (NYSE:NWY) shares are higher after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings.
The women's apparel retailer earned 25 cents a share with revenue of $303.2 million versus analyst estimates for a profit of 17 cents and revenue of $302.8 million.
Shares are higher by over 20 percent.
Last night, Longtop Financial Technologies (LFT), a software developer and solutions provider targeting the financial services industry in China, announced a share repurchase program, under which Longtop may repurchase up to $50 million in aggregate value of the outstanding ordinary shares of the company, including ordinary shares represented by American depositary shares.
